The Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in collaboration with the Jordanian Embassy in Berlin, is monitoring the situation of Jordanian citizens in Germany.

This follows severe rainstorms that hit southern Germany, causing floods, disrupting transportation, and leading to a state of emergency in several southern states.

Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, Director of the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs, stated that the Jordanian embassy in Berlin is in continuous contact with Jordanian community members registered with the embassy and residing in the affected areas. The embassy has confirmed that no injuries have been reported among them.

Ambassador Al-Qudah urged Jordanian citizens in the impacted regions to adhere to the warnings and instructions issued by local German authorities. He also encouraged them to contact the relevant German authorities, the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs, or the Jordanian Embassy in Berlin for assistance at any time.
