Israeli Occupation's aggression on Gaza continues for 238th day

The Israeli Occupation's assault on Gaza has reached its 238th consecutive day, attacking by land, sea, and air since October 7, resulting in the deaths of 36,220 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, and injuring 81,777 others.

Israeli Occupation Allegations

Israeli Occupation government claimed to have neutralized around 300 resistance members of Hamas since the military operation began in early May in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Despite UN warnings, the Israeli Occupation army launched a ground operation in Rafah on May 7, even though the city hosts many displaced people in the Gaza Strip.

Flexibility in Negotiations

Hamas affirmed that it demonstrated flexibility and positivity in indirect negotiations, leading to its approval of the mediators' proposal on May 6.

Comprehensive Exchange Deal

Hamas stated that the Israeli Occupation used these negotiations as a cover for continued aggression and massacres against Palestinians, responding to Hamas' positive stance by invading Rafah and disrupting the mediators' efforts.

Hamas emphasized that it and other Palestinian factions will not continue negotiations amidst ongoing aggression, killing, siege, starvation, and genocide. They informed the mediators that if the occupation stops its war and aggression against Gaza, they are ready to reach a complete agreement, including a comprehensive exchange deal.

Operation Aqsa Typhoon

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation violations in occupied Palestinian territories. In retaliation, the Israeli Occupation launched "Iron Swords," a military operation against Gaza, resulting in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries, along with the destruction of many buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.

Casualties Among Occupation Forces

Since October 7, the death toll of the Israeli Occupation army has reached 644, with 293 of these occurring since the ground operation began on October 27. Additionally, 3,657 occupation soldiers have been injured, with 568 in serious condition, 957 with moderate injuries, and 2,132 with minor injuries.
