Three “Israeli” soldiers killed in deadly Rafah blast

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced today that three soldiers were killed in a booby-trapped building in Rafah.

The three served in the 50th battalion of the Nahal Brigade, and are identified as:

Staff Sergeant Amir Galilove, 20 years old
Staff Sergeant Uri Bar Or, 21
Staff Sergeant Ido Appel, 21

This raises the death toll of IOF soldiers killed in the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip since Oct. 27, 2023 to 291, and 639 since “Operation Aqsa Typhoon” on Oct. 7.

An officer and two soldiers were also seriously wounded in the same explosion, with another officer “moderately hurt” – according to the IOF’s statement.
