US suspends aid delivery via Gaza pier
The United States military has suspended its delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip temporarily after a part of it broke off due to weather conditions.
It is unclear how long it will take for the pier to resume operations – two US officials said on the condition of anonymity, cited by Hebrew media.
The pier helped 137 trucks of aid enter Gaza – equivalent to 900 metric tons – according to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP).
