Omani Sultan begins state visit to Jordan

In response to an invitation from King Abdullah II, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman will begin a two-day state visit to Jordan on Wednesday, accompanied by a high-level delegation, according to Petra news agency.

The Royal Court of Oman stated that the visit aims to strengthen the brotherly ties and deep-rooted relations between Oman and Jordan, reflecting the commitment of both leaders to enhance and develop these relations.

During the visit, Sultan Haitham and King Abdullah II are scheduled to discuss cooperation in various fields and explore opportunities for growth. They also intend to consult on regional and international issues and coordinate efforts to promote Arab unity.
