Palm Sunday, Easter holiday declared by Prime Minister

Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, in an official statement issued today, said that Christians will observe a holiday next Sunday, April 28, 2024 which will mark Palm Sunday - in addition to Sunday and Monday on May 5 and 6 which will mark Easter.

“Christians in all ministries, official departments, institutions, public bodies, official universities, municipalities, joint services councils, Greater Amman Municipality, and government-owned companies will observe the holiday in celebration of Palm Sunday and Easter on the Eastern calendar,” the statement said.
