Fresh produce prices in central market Tuesday

Tuesday, the Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 2,300 tons of fresh produce including 1,697 tons of vegetables, 404 tons of fruits 198 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

Tomatoes: 6 - 12 piasters
Eggplants: 20 - 40 piasters
Potatoes: 40 - 60 piasters
Carrots: 30 - 40 piasters
Cucumbers: 25 - 35 piasters
Cauliflower: 8 - 20 piasters
Lemons: 25 - 50 piasters
Bananas: 50 - 70 piasters
