Continuing the ongoing international efforts led by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to alleviate the suffering of Gaza residents due to the war in the Strip, partner countries executed today, Wednesday, five air drops of humanitarian and food aid targeting several locations in the northern Gaza Strip - a statement by the JAF said.

Participating in the operation was one aircraft belonging to each of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and the Federal Republic of Germany, in addition to two aircraft from the Kingdom of Spain - according to the statement.

Spain's participation marks the first time, adding a special aspect to the airdrop operations led by Jordan to garner further international support in delivering food assistance to the population enduring famine resulting from the ongoing “Israeli war,” especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

The JAF affirm their commitment to continue sending humanitarian and medical aid through an air bridge, either via aid planes from Marka Airport to Al-Arish International Airport, or through air drop operations over Gaza or land aid convoys.

The number of airdrops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, since the start of the “Israeli” aggression on the Strip, has risen to 60 air drops and 101 air drops in cooperation with partner countries.
