The Kremlin announced the arrest of 11 individuals on Saturday morning, including the four terrorists suspected of being directly implicated in the attack on the Crocus City Hall.

The Russian Federal Security Service is actively investigating to identify any accomplices involved in the Crocus terrorist attack.

Media reports disclosed that authorities apprehended several suspects on Saturday morning in connection with Friday's terrorist attack in the Russian capital. The assault resulted in over 93 fatalities and more than 100 injuries.

The Russian TASS agency said that two individuals suspected of the theater attack in a Moscow suburb were among those arrested.

 - Daesh claims responsibility -

Daesh claimed responsibility for the armed assault on a Moscow concert hall on Friday, resulting in a preliminary death toll of at least 93 people, as per Russian authorities. The terrorist group stated on Telegram that its members targeted a large gathering on the outskirts of Moscow.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova condemned the "bloody terrorist attack" as a heinous crime. The Russian investigative committee announced the initiation of a criminal investigation into the terrorist act.

- Arab League condemns the attack -

The Arab League denounced the terrorist attack which led to numerous fatalities and injuries.

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, conveyed his sympathies to the victims' families as well as to Russia's leadership and citizens.

Jamal Rushdie, the official spokesperson for the Secretary-General, emphasized that this act of terrorism cannot be rationalized and necessitates unity with Russia.

- White House expresses condolences -

The White House extended condolences following the attack. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby conveyed sympathy to the victims, emphasizing that there is no indication of Ukrainian involvement in the shooting.

The White House added that the United States had forewarned Russia about a potential terrorist attack targeting large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts.

US National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson stated that the US administration had shared this information with Russian authorities earlier this month.
