Israeli Occupation aggression on Gaza continues for 169th day
For the 169th consecutive day, the Israeli Occupation Forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip, exacerbating an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
Civilians, particularly in the northern Gaza Strip, face the grim reality of starvation, with official figures indicating that over 27 Palestinians, mostly children, have succumbed to malnutrition and starvation.
The UN Security Council has postponed voting on a draft resolution, proposed by seven non-permanent member states, which calls for a ceasefire in Gaza during the month of Ramadan. The delay in the vote follows negotiations led by Washington.
Russia and China blocked a draft resolution put forward by Washington, criticizing it as politicized and giving Israeli Occupation undue leverage.
Notably, the government media office in Gaza has condemned the Israeli Occupation army for its deliberate killing of unarmed civilians in a manner devoid of humanity.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that the death toll from the occupation’s aggression has reached 32,070 martyrs since October 7. Additionally, the ministry disclosed that nine massacres occurred in the past 24 hours alone, resulting in 82 deaths and 110 injuries.
Furthermore, the ministry stated that 74,298 individuals have been injured since October 7, with several victims still trapped under rubble and inaccessible to ambulance and civil defense teams.
