“Israeli” forces raid Nablus, Qalqilya

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank early Saturday, stormed homes, and arrested several, according to Palestinian sources.

The IOF raided Nablus with about 25 military vehicles from the city’s western side and arrested youths.

According to sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli Occupation Forces raided the old town in Nablus city, deployed foot patrols and snipers in the town and its surroundings, as well as stationed in several areas in the city center amidst confrontations between young Palestinians and the IOF who fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters.

The city of Qalqilya was also stormed with several vehicles, stationed in its center and in the Neqar neighborhood, raided several homes in the neighborhood, and caused damage.

The sources pointed out the presence of foot patrols from the Israeli army in the Daher area in the Dawood neighborhood, south of Qalqilya city, while several ambushes were set up for Palestinians in Wadi Street.

The IOF also stormed the town of Bani Na'im east of Hebron, with several military vehicles, patrolling several streets and neighborhoods, without reporting any arrests.
