Jordan Prime Minister affirms unwavering support for Palestine

Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh reiterated Jordan's steadfast and consistent stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that the country remains impartial and unwavering in its support for the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people, without aligning with any particular faction.

In televised remarks on Wednesday evening, Khasawneh stated that Jordan's response to the Israeli Occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip is rooted in international law, humanitarian principles, and moral values. He noted that Jordan's principled stance has been met with respect, despite attempts to undermine it.

Khasawneh underscored the concerted efforts made by Jordan to support Gaza within its capabilities, lamenting the lack of recognition by a minority for the leadership's efforts and the unified stance of the Jordanian people in solidarity with Gaza.

He further highlighted the diverse official and popular responses to the aggression against Gaza, noting that Jordan's armed forces undertook humanitarian missions, including airdrops personally overseen by His Majesty the King.
