Details regarding Jordanian citizen killed by Israeli Occupation in Palestine
Tawfiq Ali, a Jordanian citizen from Rusaifa, was tragically killed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Monday in Palestine.
Ali, originally from Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm, had traveled to Palestine to visit his aunt in the village of Allar but decided to have breakfast at a friend's house in Atil.
After breakfast, as he was leaving the friend's house to continue his journey to his aunt's, Ali stopped at a grocery store. It was there that the IOF entered the store and fatally shot him in the thigh. Despite being rushed to Atil Hospital, Ali succumbed to his injuries.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates swiftly condemned the killing of its citizen by Israeli Occupation Forces in Tulkarm. Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah, the Ministry's spokesperson, urged Tel Aviv, as the occupying power, to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and to disclose the circumstances surrounding Ali's death.
The Ministry pledged to take all necessary diplomatic actions in compliance with international law, treaties, and conventions. Additionally, Al-Qudah stated that the Ministry is in contact with the families of the deceased citizens, who also hold Palestinian IDs, and offered condolences to their families.
