Man charged with premeditated murder after fatally stabbing wife in Amman

Grand Criminal Court pressed charges against a man for premeditated murder after he fatally stabbed his wife over 15 times with a kitchen knife inside their residence in a southern area of Amman, according to a source close to the investigation.

During interrogation by the public prosecutor, the man claimed that a disagreement led to the murder.

Forensic examination determined that the cause of death was severe blood loss resulting from the stabbing.

An autopsy revealed multiple stab wounds inflicted by a kitchen knife, with no indications of struggle or resistance noted in the forensic report.

The investigation by the public prosecutor is ongoing, with further witnesses slated to testify in the case.

Earlier reports disclosed that the assailant, in his forties, turned himself in to the relevant authorities following the incident.
