UNRWA comments on 'Israeli' forces targeting UN aid distribution center

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) highlighted that the Israeli Occupation deliberately attacked individuals receiving humanitarian aid in Rafah, following the provision of the agency's facility coordinates to the Israeli Occupation army.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) carried out an assault, targeting Palestinians by bombing the UNRWA aid distribution center situated in Rafah's city center, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

As a consequence of the occupation's targeting, at least one Palestinian was killed, and several others sustained injuries.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that the casualties from the aggression have escalated to 31,184 deaths and 72,889 injuries since October 7.
