Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Sunday that the toll of casualties from the Israeli Occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has surged to 31,045 martyrs and 72,654 injuries since October 7 of last year.

The ministry further reported that within the last 24 hours, the Israeli Occupation carried out eight massacres targeting families in the strip, resulting in 85 deaths and 130 injuries.

Some victims remain trapped under rubble and on the roads, impeding the arrival of ambulance and civil defense teams due to the occupation's restrictions.

Highlighting the dire situation, the ministry revealed that 72 percent of the casualties are children and women, with malnutrition and drought contributing to the toll of martyrs, now standing at 25.

Early Sunday morning, Israeli Occupation warplanes launched intense airstrikes and fire raids across various areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous casualties, predominantly among children and women, and injuring several others, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Specifically, Beit Lahia in the northern strip was targeted by Israeli Occupation warplanes.

Additionally, reports from Palestinian sources indicated a communication blackout in the Nuseirat Camp, alongside fires erupting near the Nuseirat market within Gaza Strip due to the intense airstrikes conducted by the Israeli Occupation forces.

Moreover, the Israeli Occupation army executed intense artillery shelling on the eastern regions of the Fakhari area, situated south of Khan Yunis, leading to the martyrdom and injury of multiple residents.
