Georgina Rodriguez, partner of renowned Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who captains the Saudi Al-Nasr team, suggested that his retirement from football may be drawing near, according to the French website "RMC."

Georgina, present at Paris Fashion Week, discussed Ronaldo's football future in her statements. In response to a query about the timing of Ronaldo's retirement, she remarked in a video statement, "Cristiano may retire in a year or perhaps two years; I am uncertain."

Recent Saudi media reports have indicated that Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, is looking to extend his contract with Al-Nassr in hopes of participating in the 2026 World Cup before retiring, when he would be 41 years old.

Ronaldo, the record holder for most goals in the Champions League with 140 goals, has played 29 matches this season with Al-Nasr across all competitions, scoring 28 goals and providing 11 assists.

He recently faced a one-match suspension from the Disciplinary Committee of the Saudi Football Federation for inappropriate behavior in response to taunts from Al-Shabab fans chanting Lionel Messi's name, Ronaldo's longtime rival.

Ronaldo and his Al-Nasr team are gearing up to face Al-Ain from the UAE in the first leg of the AFC Champions League, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Monday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
