Security measures implemented ahead of protest in Jordan Valley
On Friday morning, personnel from the Public Security Directorate were stationed along the roads leading to the Jordan Valley, and the Dead Sea.
These roads were closed off by security forces in response to anticipated mass protests in the Jordan Valley area, condemning the ongoing aggressive actions of the Israeli Occupation in the Gaza Strip.
The Public Security Directorate had previously stated that gatherings towards border areas would not be permitted, emphasizing the importance of complying with the instructions enforced by its departments to ensure the safety of citizens.
Furthermore, it reiterated its commitment to enabling citizens to peacefully express their opinions within the bounds of the law and established guidelines. It emphasized the importance of avoiding gathering in areas that pose risks to civilians or could disrupt normal life, affirming its resolve to uphold law and order.
