The Ministry of Social Development issued its report for January 2024, outlining the key services provided. According to the report, the ministry processed 9,880 cases related to preparing social studies for the purpose of providing health insurance to impoverished families, and 201 cases for exemption from treatment expenses. Additionally, 75 cases were handled for the purpose of settling inheritance rights.

The ministry licensed 10 nurseries and issued warnings to five nurseries to improve their services for children. Furthermore, the ministry placed 6 elderly individuals in elderly care homes and 39 children in childcare shelters.

Regarding exemption from work permit fees, the ministry processed 1,842 cases.

In terms of the general registry of associations, 16 associations were registered, with seven joining the union and 12 temporary administrative bodies formed to manage them. Seven temporary bodies concluded their duties, and nine associations were issued warnings.

Regarding the National Aid Fund's activities, 576 families benefited from emergency financial aid programs, 34,342 families benefited from monthly recurrent and temporary aid programs, and four families benefited from physical rehabilitation aid programs.

The support and assistance center at the fund received 11,285 calls and complaints, with a response rate of 91 percent. Monthly recurrent and temporary financial aid was transferred to 34,342 families, and complementary financial aid was provided to 16,044 families.

In efforts against begging, the report indicated 300 campaigns resulting in the apprehension of 593 male and female beggars.
