The Minister of Social Development, Wafaa Bani Mustafa, announced Wednesday the allocation of JD 4,366,000 to buy homes for underprivileged families, as well as restore and establish health centers.

The Parliamentary Finance Committee met to discuss the general budget law for the fiscal year 2023, during which Bani Mustafa said that the process of registering and deleting associations is ongoing.

She added that the ministry seeks to develop the framework governing the ministry's work in a manner that is up to date with the latest developments in Jordan.

She pointed out that the number of charities in Jordan reached approximately 3,900.

Bani Mustafa stressed the need to take the families benefiting from the ministry's services from being underprivileged to active members of society.
