The military spokesperson for the Yemen’s Houthis, Yahya Saree, announced that a British commercial ship in the Red Sea, heading to the occupied ports of Palestine, was targeted with “the suitable naval missiles.”

In a statement Thursday night, Saree added that this operation comes in support of the Palestinian people's plight and in response to the US-British aggression against Yemen.

He added that operations in the Arabian and Red Seas against "Israeli" ships or ships heading to the Israeli Occupation ports will continue until the aggression against Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that its forces shot down a drone over the Gulf of Aden without causing any injuries or damage.

CENTCOM added that it destroyed an explosive-laden drone for the Houthis in the Red Sea.
