The Israeli Occupation Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, stated that the “Israeli” army will “act soon” at the Lebanese border.

Gallant added on Monday that he informed soldiers stationed near the borders with Gaza that other forces currently deployed in the Strip will leave the area to be stationed in the north.

Reserve soldiers will vacate their positions in preparation for these future operations, he added.

The borders between southern Lebanon and northern Palestinian territories have witnessed almost daily exchanges of shelling between the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and Hezbollah since the start of “Operation Aqsa Typhoon”.

Earlier, the IOF’s Chief of the General Staff, Herzi Halevi, stated that the likelihood of a war in the north in the "coming months" is much higher than in the past.

Since the escalation on the Lebanese-Palestinian border began, more than two hundred people have been killed in Lebanon. Nine IOF soldiers and six settlers have also been killed.
