Former Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher emphasized the need to prioritize ending the ongoing war in Gaza over discussing post-aggression scenarios.

Speaking at a UN Security Council meeting on Gaza, Muasher stated that the current Israeli Occupation government does not acknowledge the two-state solution, and the essential elements for a meaningful political process are lacking.

He highlighted the absence of prospects for a serious peace process at present and urged the United States to establish a concrete timetable for ending the occupation.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip has persisted for 84 days, involving air, land, and sea attacks.

The Palestinian resistance, particularly the Al-Qassam Brigades, initiated Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. Simultaneously, the Israeli Occupation launched "Iron Sword," a military operation featuring violent raids in various areas of the Strip.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported a rise in the number of martyrs to 21,507 and injuries to 55,915 since the commencement of the aggression.

The Israeli Occupation claimed about 1,200 settlers and soldiers killed, while the Israeli Occupation army acknowledged the deaths of 502 officers and soldiers since October 7, including 168 fatalities since the ground operation began in the Gaza Strip on October 27 of the previous year.
