The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, stated that the Israeli Occupation’s aggression against Gaza is operating with an unusual intensity, and warned against the thousands of Gazans that are being pushed towards the border with Egypt.

Borrell added in statements to Al Jazeera that the numbers of civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip are witnessing a noticeable increase.

Borell warned that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) is employing this approach in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, amidst the absence of safe zones.

Borrell emphasized the necessity of preventing the displacement of Gaza's residents from their homes, stating that there are no shelters left in the Strip.

The latest death toll in Gaza is now 17,000, including 7,739 children and 4,885 women, with over 46,000 injured - per the Gaza’s Ministry of Health numbers.
