2,000 'Israeli soldiers' now classified as 'disabled' due to injuries in Gaza: reports

Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" revealed Saturday that more than 5,000 soldiers from the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have been injured since October 7, with around 2,000 soldiers being officially recognized as disabled by the IOF.

Over 1,000 soldiers are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals, with the newspaper describing it as a ‘tsunami of trauma’.

Hebrew media had previously reported that 100 soldiers suffered ‘eye injuries’ during the ground invasion of Gaza carried out by the IOF in the northern Gaza Strip over the past two months.

The number of killed IOF soldiers officially announced since October 7 has reached 420 officers and soldiers.
