The head of the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Rami Abdou, told Roya that they documented the incident involving the arrest of journalists, doctors, academics and elderly people from their homes by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in several areas in the Gaza Strip.

He added that the Israeli Occupation is trying, through the arrest of Palestinians, to register any achievement for the 'Israeli community.'

He pointed out that the Israeli Occupation arrested about 10,000 Palestinians, including more than 3,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7.

He confirmed that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is difficult, noting that the Oct. 7 attack is the result of amounting pressure on the Palestinian people for decades, as well as the violations and provocations by the Israeli Occupation settlers and government for 75 years.

He pointed out that the IOF are burning homes in Beit Lahia and killing civilians who are raising white flags.
