Hamas reveals details, conditions of temporary truce, prisoner exchange deal
The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, announced reaching a four-day humanitarian ceasefire agreement with the efforts of Qatar and Egypt, following challenging and complex negotiations.
Hamas clarified that, under the agreement, both parties would cease fire, and all military activities of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in all areas of the Gaza Strip would come to a halt.
According to Hamas, the agreement involves the release of 50 captives, including women and children under the age of 19, in exchange for the release of 150 women and children from the Palestinian people imprisoned by the Israeli Occupation, also under the age of 19, based on priority.

Hamas pointed out that, as part of the agreement, air traffic in the southern region will be suspended for the entire four days.
Additionally, air traffic in the northern region will be halted for six hours daily from 10 am to 4 pm.
During the ceasefire period, the Israeli Occupation is committed not to engage or arrest anyone in all areas of the Gaza Strip.
Freedom of movement for people along Salah al-Din Street, from the north to the south, will be ensured.
Hamas stated, "The terms of this agreement were formulated according to the vision of the resistance and its determinants aimed at serving our people and enhancing its resilience in the face of aggression, always focusing on its sacrifices, sufferings, and concerns. The negotiations were conducted from a position of steadfastness and strength in the field, despite the occupier's attempts to prolong and procrastinate in the negotiations."
Hamas added, "While announcing the ceasefire agreement, we affirm that our hands will remain on the trigger, and our victorious brigades will remain vigilant to defend our people, repel the occupation, and counter aggression."
Hamas promised the Palestinian people to remain faithful to their blood, sacrifices, patience, steadfastness, and aspirations for liberation, freedom, the restoration of rights, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem, God willing.
Earlier, the Hebrew Broadcasting Authority reported that the Netanyahu government approved a temporary truce deal with Hamas.
Netanyahu's office stated Wednesday that 50 captives, including women and children, will be released over a period of four days during a ceasefire.
All ministers in Netanyahu's government supported the deal, except for three affiliated with the Religious Zionist Party.
The government approved the exchange deal, involving a ceasefire, leading Tel Aviv to release 150 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Hamas releasing 50 captives, including women and children, within four days.
