Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" quoted an Israeli Occupation intelligence official stating that two warnings were personally presented this year to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the repercussions of the judicial overhaul presented by his government, indicating that he did not show any interest.

The two warnings reportedly informed Netanyahu stating that internal tensions inside the Israeli Occupation would weaken its deterrence ability and encourage its enemies to launch attacks.

The newspaper indicated that the head of the research unit of the Military Intelligence 'Aman,' Brigadier General Amit Sa'ar, warned Netanyahu with two letters on the ramifications of the judicial overhaul on the defense abilities.

Saar said: "All the players in the system point to the fact that Israel is in an acute, unprecedented crisis that threatens its cohesion and weakens it (this sentence was bolded in the letter). For our main enemies - Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas - this weakness is an expression of a linear process that will end in the collapse of [The Israeli Occupation], and the current situation is an opportunity to accelerate and deepen its hardships."

The second letter given to Netanyahu was on July 16, a week before the “reasonableness” standard was passed by the Knesset, according to which the Supreme Court would not be able to overturn the government’s decisions.

Shortly before the vote on the reasonableness standard in July, Netanyahu refused to meet with the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
