'Israeli Forces' arrest 70 Palestinians in West Bank, Occupied Jerusalem

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 70 Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem early Monday morning.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) stated in a press release that the IOF raided several areas in the West Bank, arresting tens of Palestinians for interrogation by Israeli Occupation security agencies, and accusing them of involvement in 'armed resistance activities.'

Since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, the IOF arrested over 2,500 individuals in the West Bank, including approximately 100 women and 40 journalists.

Administrative detention orders, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Authority, have exceeded 14,000, including new orders and renewal orders.

Notably, the IOF has intensified its arrest campaigns against Palestinians since the start of Operation Aqsa Typhoon on Oct. 7.
