Meetings in the Council of the Arab League are underway in preparation for a draft resolution to be presented to Arab leaders and heads of state in the upcoming emergency Arab league summit next saturday that will address the Israeli Occupation Forces's (IOF) ongoing military campaign against Gaza.

Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Hossam Zaki, stated that the meeting is dedicated to preparing the draft resolution that will be presented to the Arab leaders, with only one item on the Agenda - the IOF's ongoing aggression against Gaza.

Zaki added that the draft resolution will be issued at the conclusion of the summit, and will express the collective Arab position regarding the IOF's aggression against the Palestinian people, and further steps taken by the Arab states to support Palestine on the international scene, in addition to condemning the Israeli Occupation and holding it accountable for its crimes.
