The Israeli Occupation Football Association expressed its dismay at the social media network, Instagram, after suspending the account of the Tottenham and the Israeli Occupation’s winger Manor Solomon.

Instagram suspended the account earlier this week after Solomon expressed his support for the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the ongoing campaign against Gaza.

The Football Association published a photo Wednesday on its official account on the “X” platform, formerly known as Twitter, with the picture of Solomon with his mouth taped over that read: “The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. so help you God! ” along with a logo of Instagram and a call to boycott the platform.

Solomon regained access to his account Wednesday afternoon, after Tottenham contacted Meta, the parent company of Instagram.

Meta denied that Solomon's account had been suspended as a result of any of his posts. "The account was deleted by mistake and was quickly restored. It wasn’t removed because of any content he had shared," a Meta spokesperson told the Guardian.

Tottenham Football Club expressed their support to Solomon since October 7 and gave him permission to visit his family and friends in the occupied territories for one week.
