The spokesperson for the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), Daniel Hagari, stated that there are 222 captives held by Hamas in Gaza, including foreign nationals.

Hagari affirmed that the IOF has conducted incursions into the Gaza Strip to eliminate resistance fighters and search for prisoners.

He pointed out that the fighters in Gaza gather to set up ambushes for the IOF, adding, "We target their gathering points."

He further mentioned that the IOF continues to work through all possible means to return captives to their families, emphasizing that this is one of their priorities in the war on Gaza.

He noted that 308 soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the war in the Strip.

He also highlighted that 20 Hezbollah cells have been eliminated, confirming that eight cells attempting to launch missiles at Tel Aviv have been 'neutralized.'
