Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh emphasized Wednesday that any efforts to displace Palestinians represent a "red line" for Jordan.

"We will vehemently oppose any attempts to forcibly remove Palestinians from their homeland," he affirmed.

Khasawneh dismissed the notion that the Gaza Baptist Hospital massacre could weaken the resolve of the Palestinian people, deeming it naive.

"Jordan is the closest to Palestine and we will settle for nothing less than an end to these aggressions," Khasawneh declared.
