70 killed, over 200 injured in massacre targeting convoy of displaced Gaza
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that 70 civilians have been killed and over 200, many of whom are women and children, have been injured in a massacre committed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), who demanded their displacement, as reported by the Palestinian Information Center.
The Government Media Office stated that the IOF committed a new massacre against three convoys of citizens at various locations on Salah al-Din and al-Rashid streets, as they attempted to reach the south of Wadi Gaza at the request of the IOF.
The statement affirmed that this massacre, which has so far claimed the lives of 70, including children, women, and elderly, and left more than 200 injured, confirms what we have been saying from the very beginning: that this occupier does not respect agreements or consider treaties. The choice, in response to the Israeli Occupation's plan, is our people's steadfastness on their land and not leaving for any other destination.
The statement added that in the face of these massacres, for those who were considering displacement as per the occupation's instructions, we emphasize the necessity of not heeding these calls and thwarting this plan. Citizens should remain in their places and not leave.
Notably, the majority of our people rejected the rumors of displacement and the threats of the Israeli Occupation, opting to stay in their homes or in shelters in Gaza, regardless of the sacrifices, the statement read.
