Dozens protested in front of the Peruvian Foreign Ministry in Lima, Peru, to show their support for the Palestinian people and to call for peace.

One protester Eduardo Guzman Hussein said: "We are descendants of Palestinians, but we have had to leave the land because they forced us, they took us out and the world says nothing."

A Palestinian woman, Shaliuana Scheiner, expressed her sadness saying: "I have a son who is in the Gaza Strip and I haven't heard from him for more than two days. I don't know if he will be alive or dead tomorrow, I simply ask for peace."

Another protester supporting the Palestinian people, Ursula Guerra, said: "I call for peace between Israel and Palestine, there must be a dialogue that has not taken place in more than 70 years of conflict."
