Palestinian journalist killed in 'Israeli airstrike' in Rafah

The journalist Mohammad Fayez Yousef Abu Matar, 28, was martyred Wednesday as a result of an Israeli Occupation airstrike targeting homes in Rafah, according to Roya's correspondent.

This brings the total number of journalists martyred in Gaza since the beginning of 'Operation Aqsa Typhoon' to nine.

The journalists were identified as Salam Mema, Ibrahim Lafi, Mohammad Jarghoun, Mohammad Al-Salehi, Asaad Shamlakh, Saeed Al-Taweel, Mohammad Rezq Sobh, and Hisham Al-Nawajha.
