Huge explosion reported in Ankara near parliament building

An explosion was heard Sunday near the Parliament and the Ministry of Interior in the Turkish capital, Ankara, leading to the closure of roads leading to the area, Roya's correspondent reported.

The correspondent added that reports suggest a grenade was thrown from inside a car.

Specialized teams are currently inspecting the vehicle following the explosion.
