Fresh produce prices in central market

27-09-2023 13:34|Wednesday, the Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce.
According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 2,631 tons of fresh produce including 1,678 tons of vegetables, 816 tons of fruits 137 tons of leafy greens.
According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):
- Eggplants: 15-25 piasters
- Broccoli: 80-150 piasters
- Onions: 30-45 piasters
- Potatoes: 35-60 piasters
- Watermelon: 20-30 piasters
- Tomatoes: 25-60 piasters
- Garlic: 80-200 piasters
- Carrots: 60-100 piasters
- Cucumbers: 15-35 piasters
- Cauliflower: 25-50 piasters
- Mushrooms: 450-500 piasters
- Apples: 50-100 piasters
- Pomegranate: 50-80 piasters
- Lemons: 40-70 piasters
- Bananas: 60-90 piasters
- Lettuce: 20-30 piasters
