The Hashemite Charity Organization dispatched a second relief plane to Libya in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, security agencies and the Jordanian Armed Forces/Air Force.

According to a statement released by the organization on Monday, the plane is loaded with emergency relief supplies including medicines, sanitizers, first aid materials, tents, sleeping bags, food items, medical evacuation kits and heating stoves.

The statement further mentioned that coordination has been established with relevant authorities in Libya to ensure the distribution of these supplies to all areas affected by the hurricane and floods, reaching deserving families in distress.

The Secretary-General of the Organization, Hussein Al-Shibli, confirmed that the second plane has been prepared with aid to be delivered and handed over to the relevant entities operating in the field.

This assistance aims to lend a helping hand to those afflicted by this tragic event, in response to the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to provide urgent relief aid to our brothers and sisters in Libya in light of the recent devastating floods in the eastern region.
