The joint efforts of the southern military region, in conjunction with the relevant military security services, successfully foiled an infiltration attempt Saturday evening.

The incident took place at one of the borders, where four individuals tried to enter the region clandestinely.

Among them, two hailed from Uzbekistan while the other two held Kazakh nationality.

This information was relayed by an authoritative military source within the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army.

According to the military source, the Border Guard units effectively applied the established rules of engagement and managed to apprehend the individuals involved.

They were subsequently handed over to the appropriate authorities for further processing.

The source also emphasized that the JAF remains resolute in its commitment to safeguarding the nation's borders. Any attempts at infiltration or smuggling will be met with unwavering strength and determination.
