Germany says 'no accident' Kremlin in focus over Prigozhin death
The presumed death of Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin follows a pattern of "unclarified" fatalities in Russia, Germany's foreign minister said Thursday, adding that it was no coincidence that focus has turned to the Kremlin for answers, AFP reported.
"It is no accident that the world immediately looks at the Kremlin when a disgraced former confidant of Putin suddenly, literally falls from the sky two months after he attempted a mutiny," said Annalena Baerbock.

According to Russia's civil aviation authority, the head of the Wagner Group Yevgeny Prigozhin was among the passengers listed on a jet that tragically crashed, resulting in the loss of all lives on board.
An earlier report by the Wagner-linked Telegram channel Grey Zone suggested that the Embraer aircraft was shot down by air defenses in the Tver region, located to the north of Moscow.
The jet, en route from Moscow to St. Petersburg, was carrying a total of seven passengers and three crew members.
