Putin will visit Turkey in August: Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin will next month pay his first visit to Turkey since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war 500 days ago, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Saturday.

Erdogan said: "(On prisoner exchange, ed) We are also in talks with the Russian side. We are also in talks with them. I discussed the issue with Mr. (Vladimir) Putin. And Mr. Putin will visit Turkey next month. We will have the opportunity to discuss this (refers to prisoner exchange, ed) face to face again."
