Russia announced the expulsion of a British diplomat it accuses of being linked to UK intelligence services, amid escalating tensions with the West over the war in Ukraine.

Chargé d’Affaires Danai Dolakia was summoned Thursday morning and informed that the diplomat’s credentials were being withdrawn following "information regarding their affiliation with secret services.", according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The diplomat has been given two weeks to leave Russian territory, the ministry said.
