Security officers saved a young man from committing suicide Thursday evening in al-Hosn camp in Irbid, according to Roya's correspondent.

He said that the young man climbed up an electricity tower and threatened to commit suicide.

A crowd gathered but no one knew the young man's reasons behind the suicide attempt.

The reporter said officers from the Public Security Directorate (PSD) rushed to the location and persuaded the man to come down.

Notably, investigations are underway.
