Friday, the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) warned citizens and residents about the dangers of different bodies of water.

The CDD called on parents to keep an eye on their children when near a body of water and keep them from getting in, unless it is designated for swimming.

In a Facebook post, the directorate advised parents not to let their children play near bodies of water such as ponds and dams in order to protect them from drowning.
