Sunday, four people were rescued after their paddleboat started sinking near the southern shore of the Gulf of Aqaba, as announced by the Royal Boats and Naval Force Command.

Public safety boats were roaming in the area when they came across the sinking boat, to which they responded quickly and successfully transported all passengers to safety. 

The command noted that their teams are trained, equipped and ready to perform all the necessary rescue operations around the clock.

He added that they have the ambulances and emergency boats needed to respond to any emergency in Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
