Instagram is facing a widespread outage that is being reported globally, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com Sunday.

During the last 30 minutes, Down Detector has received more than 98,000 reports of Instagram being inaccessible.

When attempting to load a user's home feed, the app displays error messages such as "Sorry, something went wrong," or simply "Sorry, couldn't refresh feed."

The hashtag "Instagram" topped the list of trending hashtags on Twitter in Jordan following the outage.
