Rockets fired from Gaza after death of Khader Adnan

Rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip Tuesday following the death of Khader Adnan, AFP reported.

Israeli Occupation military in a statement said: "Sirens sounded in the area of kibbutz Saad" close to the Gaza border, warning of incoming fire.

Earlier Tuesday, Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan died after 87 days of hunger strike, authorities said.

Adhan was being held in "difficult" conditions, his wife said Friday after an advocacy group warned his health is deteriorating.

He was arrested by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at his home near the city of Jenin on Feb. 5, 2023.
