Over the past 48 hours, the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) in Zarqa shut down two restaurants and banned 10 other facilities from operating, due to health code violations.

The governor of Zarqa Hassan al-Jabour said that approximately 100 kgs of chicken, 100 kgs of frozen poultry and 128 liters of juice were discarded by the JFDA, as they were unsafe for human consumption.

He noted that these decisions were based on the lack of compliance with health-related regulations.

He added that these inspections are ongoing to ensure the health and safety of citizens and residents.
