Queen Rania hosts Henna party to celebrate Her Royal Highness Princess Iman’s upcoming wedding

In celebration of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah and Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis’ upcoming wedding, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah held a Henna party in honor of the Princess at Al Husseiniya Palace on Tuesday.

The Queen said that as it is now her first time being the mother of the bride, she understands what her mother must have felt when she got married to King Abdullah II back in 1993.

Among those in attendance were several princesses and members of the Jordanian Royal Family, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein’s fiancée, Ms. Rajwa Al Saif, and a number of women from across Jordan’s governorates.

At the party, Naya Group, the first all-female musical ensemble in Jordan performed traditional Jordanian pieces inspired by the kingdom’s heritage.

Wednesday, Her Majesty Queen Rania shared pictures of her daughter Princess Iman's Henna.

Her Majesty wrote the following, "So much love in one room! With friends and family at Iman’s Henna party this evening."
